Tankless water heater

tankless water heater, also known as an on-demand water heater, heats water only when it’s needed, as opposed to storing hot water in a tank like a traditional water heater. When a hot water tap is turned on, cold water flows into the unit and is heated by a heat exchanger, providing a constant supply of hot water.
Tankless water heaters are more energy-efficient than storage tank water heaters because they don’t have to constantly keep a large amount of water hot. They can also save space as they are much smaller than storage tank water heaters. Additionally, tankless water heaters have a longer lifespan than storage tank water heaters.
There are two main types of tankless water heaters: electric and gas. Electric tankless water heaters are powered by electricity and can be installed almost anywhere, but may not be able to provide enough hot water for larger households. Gas tankless water heaters are powered by natural gas or propane and are more efficient than electric tankless water heaters, but require proper venting and may require a larger gas line.
When choosing a tankless water heater, it’s important to consider your hot water needs, the size of your household, the availability of the fuel source, and the unit’s energy efficiency rating. It’s also important to properly maintain your tankless water heater to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
